These "Ugly" Skinny Jeans Are Becoming a Thing
We’re here for just about every skinny-jean trend. Case in point: When Victoria Beckham wore a type we hadn’t seen before and crushed a common denim "mistake” at the same time, we were the first to point it out and add the style to our wardrobes. We also shared the anti–skinny jeans I keep getting compliments on this season. (Kate Middleton, Margot Robbie, and Gigi Hadid also have adopted the trend recently.) Today, we’re adding to the list and highlighting the latest "ugly” trend to sweep the fashion world.
Winter weather means it’s the time of the year when brands are favoring leather pants over simple jeans and when we see celebrities supporting and wearing the styles that smart brands are sending to their stylists. While black leather pants are indeed chic, this season we’re seeing powerhouses like Joe’s Jeans and J Brand pushing brown leather pants over classic kohl options. Yep, a color that’s typically dubbed "ugly” is gaining the spotlight, and we’re here for it. In fact, neutral and brown continue to reign supreme as one of the biggest color trends out there. Hop on the "ugly” color trend sooner than later, dear readers, and start with a pair of the best brown leather pants.
We love this high-waisted silhouette.
We're into this light-brown version of J Brand's classic Maria silhouette.
If you're looking for a cropped option, these are the best.
