I Scour This Affordable Site Weekly for My Favorite Cult Brands
Do you ever get so invested in hunting down a certain fashion item that it brings out the inner internet stalker in you? (Nope, just me then?) This is what happens when I fall in love with an item as a new arrival only to wait for it to go on sale before I finally make a purchase. All this waiting for it to go on sale has led me down some weird rabbit holes of the internet (but that's another story for another time), and the site I can always count on for killer designer deals is The Outnet.
Since I check back on the site's discounted designer offerings so frequently, I was curious to know how I could start shopping the site better. I spoke with Buying Director Vikki Kavanagh, who clued me into all the best brands on The Outnet, along with her tips and tricks for finding the best deals on the site. From cult brands like Staud and Mansur Gavriel, who are known for frequently selling out, to designer staples like Stella McCartney, The Outnet stocks a great selection. It all just comes down to knowing how to shop it best.
One of her biggest suggestions? To peruse the selection daily. "My browsing style is to filter by size so as to not be disappointed with any sold-out pieces. I also enjoy shopping the Boutiques we create, such as workwear, partywear, etc., and I tend to look at my favorite brands every week, as we change our product portfolio so often."
Keep reading to discover the best brands on The Outnet and all the ways to uncover the must-have fashion deals, according to the site's buying director.
Staud
According to Kavanagh, the brands people are searching the most for right now fall into two categories: "the luxury super brands such as Stella McCartney and Dolce & Gabbana and newer collections like Staud, Christopher Esber, and Mansur Gavriel."
Mansur Gavriel
Stella McCartney
As for the site's most popular labels? "It's the globally renowned brands—Stella McCartney, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Diane von Furstenberg, and Alexander Wang," she shared.
Alexander Wang
Iris & Ink
"Proudly, and against all of the iconic superbrands we have within our portfolio, our number one brand remains Iris & Ink, our private label collection," she says.
