Alexa's Simple Layered Outfit is All I Want To Wear This Autumn

Winter dressing is somewhat of an art form. Throughout the colder months, there is always quite a lot of strategy involved in putting an outfit together, particularly when it comes to layering. A typical autumn or winter look will always require a few separate pieces but it's the way you put those pieces together that really makes a difference. 

Evidently, when it comes to layering Alexa Chung seems to have it all figured out. The celeb was spotted attending a VIP event in London recently and was sporting the perfect 6-piece capsule outfit.

Comprised of a white tee, knit vest, denim jacket and black coat, Alexa's outfit perfectly blended multiple layers, ensuring she remained warm, yet still looked put together. The star then finished the outfit with a pair of blue jeans, balancing out the double denim with the addition of a black calf-length winter coat. 

The beauty of this look is that the layers can easily be added or removed depending on temperature or time of day, without ever compromising on style. The separate pieces can easily be mixed and matched to offer a unique outfit each time.
