I'm a Zara Expert—Here's What I'm Buying This Summer

As a true Zara addict (and some might even say "expert"), I can humbly admit that I have an eye for the best Zara product that rolls through season after season. Maybe this is because I spend way too much time stalking the site or maybe it's because I get to see brand-new product in person at the Zara showroom here in NY, but whatever the reason, I have officially become our office's scout for the best new product offered up by the retailer. I find it on site, add to cart, shoot it for The Devils Wear Zara, and call it a day.

Below I've mapped out the kinds of products I've been buying from Z (what Mimi and I call Zara for short) so far this season. Per usual, I am drawn to quirky accessories, bright colors, and on-trend shoes. But that's not even the half of it. Weird Accessories

This summer, the weirder the accessory, the better. I'm on the hunt for quirky jewelry, multicolored bags, and statement sunnies galore.

Knit Sets

Instead of instantly reaching for a floral dress this season, I am trying to push myself to opt for something a little more interesting. Zara's colorful knit sets do just the trick.

Oversize Denim

If you haven't owned a pair of Zara jeans, I suggest you add some to your cart. Instead of traditional styles like skinny jeans or cropped flares, I'm shopping as much oversize '90s denim as possible.

Fresh Florals

Zara's slew of floral product has me in a frenzy. From the variations in the beachwear collection to essentially an assortment of floral dresses on tap, if a festive flower child is what you're going for this summer, look no further.

Tropical Shirts

Retro shirts, Hawaiian shirts, tropical shirts—whatever you want to call them—are making a huge comeback this season, and naturally, Zara has the best assortment. Wear the shirt trend with knit shorts, oversize denim, or open over a swimsuit for maximum fashion-girl effect.

'90s Sandals

Goodbye, flat sandals—hello, '90s strappy heels. These comfortable throwback shoes are all I plan on wearing throughout summer 2018.
