Now that Sofia Richie has announced her pregnancy to the world, we have her maternity outfits to look forward to. She's already treated us to several looks this week, including her first red carpet appearance since announcing. Richie walked the red carpet with her husband Elliot Grainge for a pre-Grammys event in L.A., and as to be expected, her look was wildly chic.

Richie wore a black off-the-shoulder blazer and trousers paired with black slingback heels. What really made the ensemble were her earrings, which were right in step with one of the biggest jewelry trends of the upcoming season. Hello, '80s-inspired earrings—goodbye, delicate and dainty earrings. Richie's oversize square earrings were reminiscent of the glamorous, statement-making earrings of the decade. The bold onyx-and-gold earrings provided a perfect contrast to her subdued outfit. Take notes because pairing '80s earrings with low-key outfits is the best way to ensure that your look doesn't come across as costumey.

With that, read on to shop '80s-inspired earrings for yourself.
