Selecting what to wear to an interview is one of the most stressful outfit decisions, right up there with what to wear to meet your significant other’s parents. We figured we’d make it easier by suggesting some of the colors that are proven to leave positive impressions on the interviewer. According to a study from CareerBuilder.com surveying over 2000 hiring managers, blue and black topped their list for the best colors to wear to an interview. Black connotes leadership and blue communicates that you are a team player. The color you should stay away from? Orange, which can be associated with unprofessional qualities. Armed with this knowledge, we rounded up the best blue and black pieces that will make a stellar interview outfit.
