The Only Zara Pieces You Need to Know About This April
I'm going to keep this brief so we can all get down to business. At Zara, it's finally looking like the dregs of the winter collection have finally been cleared out and made way for new, spring-ready things to filter in.
Fresh items are arriving thick and fast, and they appear to be especially bright and particularly lovely. From exuberantly colorful spring coats that give all old outfits (especially a jeans-and-sweater ensemble) a fun makeover to more versions of the strappy sandals that were a big influencer draw last summer, it's enough to make one forget it's still pretty chilly in some parts of the U.S.
So here are the top Zara trends from its spring 2019 collection thus far. This story will be added to as and when more deliveries are made. Enjoy!
STRAPPIES
Carrie Bradshaw better watch her back—we're coming for her full sandal collection, and it's all located easily on Zara's website. These strappy sandals come in so many different colors and finishes already (I'm pretty hooked on white-and-pink snake print), but we predict many more iterations to come…
HIGHLIGHTER HUES
Get thee some sunglasses—fast! This new wave of neons is so bright you'll need to have a sit-down. Up to you on how you want to style them: All together is bold and brave, but separately with denim or black is also an entirely legitimate fashion route.
'90s SPORTSWEAR
It's like the athleisure of the Kardashian-Jenners, but more grown-up: cycling shorts, tie-dye sweatshirts, bucket hats, chunky sneaks and more. The way to keep '90s-inspired sportswear on the most sophisticated level is to look at muted and grayscale colors rather than brights or neons.
CRAFTY BAGS
Where Zara's key shoe trend is dressy and amped-up, bags are looking altogether more "natural" and organic. Think craft-inspired processes like beading or crochet, rendered in neutral tones.
POLKA DOTS CONTINUED
Give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back if you bought into polka dots last year. They're still very much on the menu.
Coloured Suits
No longer the reserve of bank managers and teachers, suits have been given the fashion treatment this season, and the high street can't get enough of it. Case in point? Zara is currently chockfull of a rainbow of stylish two-pieces that'll satisfy all your color-pop needs.

Sculptural Shoes
From oversize buckles to statement soles, Zara has seriously gone to town with the sculptural shoe this spring. These are the sort of styles that were made to elevate your favorite pair of jeans for a night on the town—plus, they all feature a low heel so won't wreck your feet.
