Fashion that can save lives sounds like something that's make-believe—that gives us an excuse to shop—but in reality, it’s a real thing, and an initiative everyone should take part in. Each year, Witchery teams up with the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation for the White Shirt Campaign, to raise much-needed funds to find an early detection test for ovarian cancer.
How can you join in and make a difference, you ask? For each Witchery white shirt sold during the #WhiteShirtCampaign, the Australian label will donate everything except the GST to the OCRF. How’s that for guilt-free shopping?
And what to do once you have that white shirt in your hands? Share a photo to your Instagram and caption with “I wear a white shirt because…”, #WhiteShirtCampaign, and then nominate a friend to join the fight and share why they wear a white shirt too.
