A Few Wellness Things I'm Buying for a Low-Key, Wellness-Focused New Year's Eve
You deserve a night in.
New Year’s Eve in NYC can either be iconic or wildly overstimulating, and this year I’m choosing neither. I’m planning to spend the time in Florida with family and think this might be the first time in a long time I choose to spend the night in. I want to do something low-key, cozy, and completely centered around feeling good—mentally, physically, energetically. If all goes as planned, I'll be treating the night less like a party and more like a reset button. Although an epic party invitation could change everything for me, I'm hoping to set myself up for a night in that will make me want to stick to my plan. Part of this planning, requires curating a tiny assortment of wellness things that will make staying in feel like a luxury, not a compromise.
Surprisingly a lot of people are on the same page this year, instead of sequins and stilettos, a lot of my friends are sharing links to magnesium powders, chic candles, calming teas, and good books. Call me inspired. If your idea of the perfect NYE is soft loungewear, intentional rituals, and waking up on January 1 feeling like the best version of yourself, these are the wellness buys actually worth adding to cart.
