7 Awesome Under-the-Radar Items We Found Tagged on Instagram
I spend too much time on Instagram. It’s fact. And while there surely must be some bad consequences that go hand in hand with my habit, I will say it’s not all that bad. Exhibit A: The seven brands below.
I enjoy taking full advantage of Instagram’s saving option, and quite often, that’ll lead me to discover brands that I might not have known about before or that simply fly a bit more under the radar. My latest findings run the gamut.
There are quite a few UK-based brands—some elevated, everyday pieces, some quirky accessories—as well as fun athleisure pieces and simple, sleek underwear sets. And each of them has the stamp of approval not only from yours truly but also from some of the coolest women on Instagram, too.

We're suckers for a unique handmade accessory. They're kind of like conversation icebreakers, as they beg the question, "Where'd you get that?" This brand has a special talking point built right in: The color of the piece determines how many hours it took to make (red is 80 to 150 hours, and blue is 40 to 80, for example).
Elliss
This lingerie, swim, and womenswear brand takes a slow-fashion approach to production. It also masters great neutral shades, bright pops of color, and cheeky, artful graphics.

Olivia Rose
If you can't resist a sweetheart neckline, puffy sleeve, or ruched bodice (basically any version of a 2018 prairie silhouette), we apologize in advance for putting this handmade clothing brand on your radar.

Walk of Shame
If Moscow-based Walk of Shame sounds familiar, it's either because it has a memorable name or because you've seen it tagged in endless influencers' outfit posts. While we can't say the brand is new, it's still a bit more under the radar, which means the label's playful pieces will feel a bit more personal.

Eric Emanuel

Blame it on the complete takeover of athleisure trends, but these pairs make for the perfect of-the-moment, unexpected styling piece—either for or not for any real sports-related activities.
