9 Designer Bags Everyone Has Been Wearing Lately

Like any other subcategory of fashion trends, It bags can come and go faster than you can text your friends to ask them what they think of your latest find. One day, something is all over your feed, and the next day, it's gone. *Sometimes* that same item will either stick around much longer than anticipated or pop back up when you least expect it—even if it's years later. Knowing which will do what is probably 10% skill and 90% luck, but it's a game we love to play nonetheless.

With that, I've rounded up the nine designer purses that are on the radars of practically every celeb, influencer, editor, and fashion person lately. From newer styles by Prada and Bottega Veneta to older (and even older) picks from Gucci and Louis Vuitton, below are those pieces that the fashion set just can't get enough of this summer, and my guess is that they'll keep wearing them into fall too. To see the bags that made the cut, simply keep scrolling.

1. Bottega Veneta Foulard Intrecciato Bag

It's hard not to love anything worn by Elsa Hosk, but this oversize bag truly is stunning and functional.

2. Khaite Olivia Hobo Bag

Every time it pops up on my feed (which is about twice a day), I love this raffia hobo more and more. You can wear it around town, to the beach, and even to dinner.

3. Miu Miu Arcadie Matelassé Bag

Aside from the unique texture of the leather, the elongated shape is what really makes this special for me. It's just so undeniably elegant.

4. Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy Bag

Whether it's vintage, limited edition, or the classic monogrammed canvas style, Louis Vuitton's tiniest iteration of the iconic Speedy bag is having a major moment, and I'm so into it.

5. Loro Piana L19 Pouch

Sofia Richie Grainge's approval corroborates what I've been thinking about this little top-handle bag for months: It's perfect in every way (and every color).

6. The Row N/S Tote

For a low-key pick that gives "If you know, you know" vibes, look no further than The Row's N/S tote. The only downside is that it's available in a range of sizes and neutral tones, so it's nearly impossible to choose a favorite iteration.

7. Valentino Vlogo Shoulder Bag

Each time Valentino comes out with a new color or embellishment for this bag, I love it more and more.

8. Gucci Jackie 1961 Bag

From the newer raffia iterations to the classic leather—my personal go-to—this "old" Gucci bag is aging like a fine wine.

9. Prada Galleria Bag

Now for the viral bag of the moment—Prada's Galleria may be steep on the wallet, but it is, without a doubt, something you'll want to save for your grandchildren.

Editor-at-Large

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
