I hate to say it, but summer has well and truly come to an end. The temperature outside has definitely dropped and I'm already on the hunt for the perfect transitional coats and jackets. If, like me, you're also starting to prep for autumn and winter, then you've come to the right place. It's no secret that with a new season comes lots of new trends, and I've made it my mission to hunt down some of the biggest autumn beauty trends that we can expect to see everywhere this season.

You might be asking yourself, where do you find these upcoming trends? There's only one place for it in my opinion, and that's TikTok. I, like many others, have become somewhat addicted to the social media app, and I love seeing what makeup, hair and nail trends all the cool kids are currently trying out.

There are so many different tutorials right at our fingertips, and I've spent the past few days going through each and every one to see what the stand out themes are. It's a hard job, but someone's gotta do it, right? So, if you're ready to switch things up this season, keep on scrolling for the TikTok autumn beauty trends that are not to be missed...

1. Chocolate Chrome Nails

According to lots of autumn nail trend videos on the app, "chocolate chrome" nails are going to be everywhere this season. Deep chocolate brown shades were big last year, but I love how the chrome finish takes this trend up a notch for 2024.

Next up is statement blusher. Blush has really been having a moment this year, but this autumn it seems that people are opting for deeper shades to make a statement with their makeup.

Now, when it comes to hair trends, it seems that loose, undone ponytails and braids are the way to go for autumn and beyond. The trick here is to make your hair look as tousled as possible for that chic yet low maintenance finish.

Possibly one of my favourite autumn makeup TikTok trends has to be a bold lip paired with minimal eye makeup. There is something so polished about this look, and according to the app, darker lipsticks are the way to go.

5. Cherry Mocha Nails

Last but by no means least is 'cherry mocha' nails, and yes, they look just as delicious as they sound. This colour is the perfect mix between a vivid burgundy and a deep brown, and I will definitely be giving it a go during my next trip to the salon.
