I think I speak for all of us when I say this year's wardrobe goal is a closet full of simple yet elevated pieces you can mix and match throughout all four seasons. Great basics are essential to a sustainable and cost-effective wardrobe, and when I'm looking to add more, Nordstrom is my go-to.

As a former Nordstrom stylist, I remember emphasizing the power of a great basic to clients. Those include low-rise denim, midi skirts with high slits, racerback tanks or bodysuits you can pair with trousers, jeans you can wear forever, and blazers you can style with jeans, dresses, and miniskirts.

Since you know I'm a Nordy lover, keep scrolling to see 31 simple yet elevated items I can't get enough of.
