What Our Editor Is Buying to Prepare for Summer

As we head into the final month before summer, I'm using this opportunity to prepare my wardrobe before the heat sets in. The last thing you want to see is a text from friends saying: "Beach. Now." and you still feel utterly unprepared. Spring in Sydney has been mild, so I expect an extremely hot summer will be headed our way. I'll be adding lots of linen basics to stay cool, new swimsuits that can double as outerwear, and sunglasses, and a hat to be sun smart.

Australian designers do summer so well, so this month, I'm indulging my patriotic side and shopping only from local brands.

I can imagine wearing this skirt with oversized T-shirts, silk camisoles, or white button-down shirts.

I basically live in Senso shoes and get an update each season.  I'm obsessed with shade of burnt orange.
