I Just Found the Most Amazing Shop Where You Can Buy Rare Vintage Chanel Bags

A fantasy afternoon for any handbag lover would be to spend the afternoon window shopping in Rue Cambon and Rue Saint Honoré—not to mention rummaging through incredible vintage shops which are stocked with the likes of Chanel and Dior. However I just found the next best thing, as you can shop one of the world's most famous second-hand boutiques online. The pricetags of these bags might reach dizzying heights (these are some of the most expensive and rarest handbags in the world, remember), but it does make for wonderful procrastination. Tokyo-based vintage shop Amore is often referred to as 'the world's best Chanel pre-owned store', with rare collectors pieces from iconic French fashion houses.
Amore has quite the fan club, as Kim Kardashian, Alexa Chung and Bella Hadid are on the client list according to Vogue. Amore sells many of its rare treasures online via Farfetch, however, and has just launched a collection of precious previously-owned handbags. The vintage store specialises in pieces from the '80s, '90s and '00s, which is reflected in the mix of Kelly bags, Fendi baguettes and Cartier mini bags available in the capsule. The collection is simply epic, with a beautiful red Chanel briefcase, Chanel coat of arms-embossed shoulder bag and some of the most Instagrammable Fendi baguettes we've ever seen. Keep scrolling to shop some of the rarest—and most expensive—handbags in the world.
Shop the Pre-Owned Bags:
According to the product description the bag is made from diamond quilted black canvas, and has a really distinctive embroidered 'Coco' coat of arms.
This Chanel briefcase-style handbag was created sometime in between 1985 and 1993, and has the signature diamond quilted finish.
This handbag is named after the late Grace Kelly, and the straw and brown leather version is a really unique spin on the iconic handbag.
So Carrie Bradshaw.
Trust Cartier to create one of the chicest mini totes out there.
These sorbet colours are quite simply delicious.
The Dior Saddle has made a comeback recently—and there are so many rare originals available on Farfetch.
Fendi baguettes are another bag to be relaunched this year—and this noughties zebra print is the baguette at its best.
Here is another Kelly bag in the green that is set to dominate in 2020.
This might look black, but it's actually made from midnight blue leather. Chic, no?
Another beauty from Cartier.
This spherical bag was designed in 1994, and is a really special piece of Chanel's history.
This box bag feels really special for Gucci.
