30 New Items Every NYC Fashion Girl Will Be Wearing This Summer
Summer is every NYC fashion person's time to shine. We dust off our favorite vintage sunglasses, cool sneakers, minidresses, and trendy accessories for every outing now that we don't mind spending time running around outdoors. We're free from the confines of our puffer coats and oversize scarfs after a cold, long winter, and our event calendars are filling up, reservations are being made, and summer vacations are just around the corner.
As a New York City fashion girl, I anticipate spring/summer fashion every year, and this season, I'm already noticing some stand-out trends and items, many of which I'm planning on wearing. Micro skirts, platform heels, elevated yet simple silhouettes, and bucket hats really stand out to me. As your go-to editor for all things shopping, I have rounded up 30 of my favorite NYC fashion person–approved items for summer.

The mini sunglass trend reigns supreme for yet another summer.
Bucket hats are trending for summer, and I'm loving this green one from Pangaia.
This top is everything. Ever since I saw this, I've been dreaming of wearing it. I would style it with classic denim cut-offs or white straight-leg jeans.
You can't go anywhere in NYC without seeing someone carrying a chic, simple minibag.
I have major heart eyes for this strapless floral minidress.
