There are two things New Yorkers can expect to see year after year for the summer season: The first is an eye-watering electric bill thanks to increased use of air conditioning. The second is shorts and crop tops, which we often haven't worn for months.

Every summer, I go through piles of clothes that haven't seen daylight in half a year and question what I was thinking when buying them. My style changes with my mood, so naturally, now that warm weather has boosted my serotonin and put a pep in my step, I'm changing up my summer clothing catalogs to reflect this year's sartorial tastes. My first stop? Nordstrom. Long before I started working at Who What Wear, I'd browse the retailer every month to stock up on a few timeless basics, which I rotated in my closet. Now, as a shopping editor, Nordstrom has basically become an extension of my personality.

After a four-hour deep dive through the retailer's fun summer offerings, I'm divulging all the finds I can't stop thinking about. Below, find 37 of the best summer tops, swimsuits, accessories, shoes, and more available now at Nordstrom. No gatekeeping here!
