Ah, there's no place like home... or Nordstrom's new-arrival section. As a shopping editor, it's quite literally my job to spend hours checking the retailer every day for the best finds and can't-miss deals. While traditional big-box retailers often have mass-marketed clothing that isn't always fit for the fashion crowd, Nordstrom is an incredible departure from the pack. I'm constantly amazed by the amount of great stuff I stumble upon while browsing its new-arrivals section. So you could imagine my shock when I did major damage to my credit card when I saw a slew of jaw-dropping finds ringing in under $100. Win-win for me (and for my closet!). So much for my New Year's resolution of spending less money on clothing.

Below, find 40 of the chicest, most elevated summer clothing pieces, accessories, and shoes that Nordstrom is offering in its new-arrivals section. I bet you $5 you wouldn't believe all of these are $100 and under. Happy shopping!
