8 Fresh Outfit Ideas I'm Re-Creating to Dress a Little Bit Better This Year
Oh hey there, 2021. The new year brings a fresh start for us in more ways than one, but naturally, being the style person that I am, I'm focusing on simple and easy ways to update my wardrobe and dress just a little bit better. I've worn my fair share of sweatpants and loungewear over the last year and while I still want to make comfort a priority, I'm feeling more ready than ever to dress up again.
Since I'm certain I'm not the only one who's feeling this way, I figured I'd go ahead and share some of the outfit inspiration that's fueling me to dress my best right now. Thanks to the affordable pieces in our very own Who What Wear line, re-creating the below eight 'fits doesn't have to break any budgets, either. So simply continue on to get your fill out cool outfits and shop the pieces you'll need if you want to re-create them.
The formula: Printed Turtleneck + Wide-Leg Pants + Chunky Boots
Why it works: Allover print creates an eye-catching look and paired with staples like black boots and sunglasses, it couldn't be an easier look to style.
The formula: Puffer Coat + Tailored Shorts + Shoulder Bag
Why it works: Puffers are getting a cool upgrade right now and pairing our patent cold-weather topper with tailored shorts feels fresh and different.
The formula: Thin Sweater + Leather Trousers + Knee-High Boots
Why it works: Brown tones are having such a moment and I love that this look shows how to incorporate them easily with black pieces.
The formula: Cropped Cardigan + Utility-Inspired Pants
Why it works: Balance roomier utility trousers with a simple thin cardigan top for a cool contrast.
The formula: Printed Turtleneck + Jeans + Socks + Loafers
Why it works: Second-skin tops are the piece that every fashion girl will wear with jeans this year, case in point.
The formula: Ribbed Knit Dress + Combat Boots + Shoulder Bag
Why it works: RIbbed knits give off an effortless luxe vibe, especially styled in monochrome here.
The formula: T-Shirt + Leather Pants + Gold Jewelry
Why it works: Jeans and a tee is a failsafe outfit, but this year I want to try leather pants instead for something casual but more elevated.
The formula: Chunky Cardigan + T-Shirt + Jeans
Why it works: "Grandpa" cardigans are a big cozy trend to know this year and according to this simple look, they're easy to wear, too.
