Margot Robbie Just Wore This Sturdy Shoe Trend All Over NYC and the Airport

Margot Robbie is on the move, and she packed a pair of shoes to travel to NYC this week that you may or may not agree were made for walking. While in town for the Gotham Awards, Robbie was photographed at JFK and in SoHo wearing a pair of Bottega Veneta Western-inspired mules. Even though the shoes feature a towering four-inch heel, it's a sturdy Cuban heel, which is traditional for Western footwear. And like many of Bottega Veneta's shoes, they feature a treaded rubber sole.

While I wouldn't typically condone wearing four-inch mules around NYC and at the airport, this would be the pair to do it in. And in general, Western shoes are a great option if you want a bit of height but still want something walkable. With that, scroll to see what Robbie wore her Bottega Veneta mules with, and shop other sturdy (and chic) Western shoes for yourself.
