Anyone who knows me will know I live and breathe Beyoncé. If I were to appear on Mastermind, my specialist topic would most likely be her song lyrics. (Just ask my poor friends who've heard me sing.) When I went to see her on her London dates of her Renaissance World Tour, the beauty editor in me couldn't help but wonder, What perfume does Beyoncé wear?
Of course, she has her own line of perfume (and she recently teased that she is launching a haircare brand on Instagram), and she was the face of Emporio Armani Diamonds back in 2010, but I wonder what Bey would make a beeline for if she were to peruse a beauty hall nowadays.
Beyoncé is currently on her Renaissance World Tour and stopped off at Harrods to shop at the store after hours for one of her favourite perfumes .
Well, my question has been answered. According to an anonymous source, Beyoncé was shopping in Harrods after hours last week where she picked up a bottle of Kilian Paris Angels' Share—a perfume that she was also wearing that day. Naturally, I deep-dived into the fragrance, and here is everything you need to know.

So what does Beyoncé smell like? Angels' Share is a warm cognac that you'd expect to find in the fanciest of cellars. It's aged in oak barrels and spiked with captivatingly sweet tonka bean, decadent praline and sweet vanilla upon a sandalwood base. Beyoncé is far from the shy and retiring type, and I can see her wearing this commanding fragrance that matches her energy—self-assured, confident and enigmatic. And at £185 for a 50-millilitre bottle, she smells damn expensive too. Thankfully, this is one of those perfumes that has serious longevity and will walk into the room before you do, so you're getting your money's worth.
The fragrance is part of Kilian Paris' The Liquors collection (which is inspired by founder Kilian Hennessy's eighth-generation inheritance of Hennessy, a leader in cognac) and is housed in a beautiful art deco bottle that resembles a glass you'd find in an expensive bar. And I can totally visualise this being on her dressing table while she gets ready.
Beyoncé isn't the only celebrity fan of Kilian perfumes. Rihanna's favourite perfume is reportedly from the brand as well. Her pick is Love, Don't Be Shy—a white floral and marshmallow perfume that is hypnotically sweet.
