Whenever I Don't Know What to Wear, I Opt for One of These Classic Jeans-and-T-Shirt Looks
Jeans-and-a-tee is a fail-safe outfit formula all year round, but now that we're enjoying warmer days that require fewer layers, the combo feels more appropriate than ever. Ideal for those rushed mornings when you need an outfit that's quick, effortless and polished, it's also uniquely versatile.
Treating the jeans and T-shirt as the skeleton of your look allows you to tailor the overall ensemble to different occasions. Want to keep things pared-back for a casual errand-filled afternoon? Just add trainers and a tote bag. Headed out for the evening and need a little something extra? Slip on some heels and statement accessories. Easy peasy.
To prove that this combination is anything but boring, I've curated five completely different outfits with denim and a T-shirt as their foundation. Scroll on to see and shop the jeans and t-shirt outfits that are perfect for summer.
1. Blue Jeans + Black T-Shirt + Ballet Flats + Linen Blazer
Style Notes: To elevate this simple combination, it feels natural to adopt some French style tricks. All you need is a silky scarf, ballet flats and a blazer to emulate your favourite Gallic girls.

2. White Jeans + Fun T-Shirt + Trainers + Sunnies
Style Notes: Sunshine necessitates pops of colour. To get in the mood for brighter weather, try pairing a punchy slogan tee with ecru jeans and some uplifting accessories.

3. Black Jeans + Striped T-Shirt + Waistcoat + Clogs
Style Notes: I'm a neutrals girl at heart, so on an average day, you'll find me wearing a basic T-shirt, black jeans and some tan and beige accessories. Top it all off with simple gold hoops, and that's me to a tee. Pun intended.

Waistcoats have our full attention this season.
4. Wide Jeans + Pink T-Shirt + Heels + Mini Bag
Style Notes: To refresh your jeans and a T-shirt for 2024, add in some unexpected shades (like bubblegum pink) and silver accessories. This outfit makes me RSVP to every dinner, drinks and night-out invite that comes my way at the moment.

5. Blue Jeans + Logo T-Shirt + Linen Shirt + Fisherman Sandals
Style Notes: This might be one of my most-loved formulas. Simple, comfy and so easy to replicate at home, it combines some of my most-worn (and loved) summer staples and is the perfect weekend 'fit.

I'll never not love a Gucci shoulder bag.
