When I was younger, I would draft my holiday wish list with urgency and undisturbed concentration. A fur-topped pink pen to go with that fuzzy diary? You know I wrote Santa a long letter about why I needed it. Those platform sneakers everyone owned? On my list too (at the very top, naturally). Fast-forward about 15 years and my lists have evolved from a 12-year-old’s must-haves to a laundry list of It bags, It shoes, and so much jewelry my friends and family can hardly keep up.
Not this year: I’ve decided that it’s time for a different approach. Rather than focusing on a ton of items that’ll likely end up being novelty pieces in my wardrobe, I’m thinking about what I’ll actually want to wear in the months (and even years) ahead. And while poking around to fine-tune this dream wish list of mine, I stumbled upon the Marc Jacobs Resort 18 collection, and it’s safe to say that I’ve found everything I need—and then some. (Now I just need to find someone who will gift me these.)

What can I say? A denim-on-denim look (not Britney and Justin level, but you get the gist) is a must for me for S/S 18, and I wanted to get started early. A cool ensemble with details like soft black pom-poms is just what I need. I’m also intensely focused on this personality-packed bag and the classic kitten heels of my dreams.
I want to be one of those people who look like an elevated street style image come to life (even if it’s raining outside or it’s laundry day). That’s why I want to try this cool tracksuit-inspired ensemble this coming year: The ultimate statement piece? This red crossbody bag, which can actually take you from day to night because the strap comes off to create a chic little clutch (blue eyeshadow wouldn't hurt either).
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is my favorite movie, and I want to feel like Audrey Hepburn walking into her brownstone at all times. My all-black uniform needs an update, though, so I found a few inky-hued pieces to add to my list. Let’s take a closer look at this heavenly bag, shall we? It’s small (but not too small), and the pom-poms take it from “safe” to “now trending.” Add a touch of fringe to this mockneck heaven and my wish list is basically set.
