As a professional shopper, I am always on the hunt for chic bags that only look expensive. These finds curb a deep craving for designer bags that are often out of reach when it comes to my budget. My usual haunts for scores like these are Zara, Mango, and H&M, but I am happy to share a new source for expensive-looking bags that could pass as designer: the Aqua bag collection at Bloomingdale's.

Below, I'm sharing some of the standouts from the eye-catching selection of bags, including of-the-moment east-west shoulder bags, beautiful suede options, and others that scream quiet luxury. Many come in a variety of colors, making it even harder to pick just one. There's also something for a variety of occasions and personal styles.
