Your Fashion Horoscope Is In: These Are the Adidas Sneakers to Shop Based on Your Zodiac Sign

If an astrologer and a fashion person walked into a bar, what do you think they'd talk about? Surely, they would chat about how Carrie Bradshaw is such a Libra (only an air sign would dedicate her kitchen to Jimmy Choo). What I would personally love to know is what sneakers I should invest in pre-fall if I'm a Leo-Virgo cusp?
Right now, I'm stuck between a handful of Adidas' new arrivals—multiple styles have caught my eye, so I'm having a hard time deciding which pair is the most me. There's the new (and always sold out) Samba Janes, the street-style darling Tokyo Shoes, the IYKYK lace-up Taekwondo Mei's—the list goes on. So, I've turned to the stars to help me (and you) make an educated decision. Ahead, I've organized the signs by their corresponding elements—fire, water, air, and earth—and matched their zodiac traits to a few pairs of Adidas sneakers, so you can choose the style that best aligns with you. Ahead, your sneaker horoscope awaits.
Earth Signs
Who loves the finer things in life (shoes) more than a Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn? Trick question. Earth signs are goal-oriented, curators of everything from art to fashion, and great caretakers. Of course, the Handball Spezials in an earthy green shade would catch their eye. I also think Tauruses would adore the Samba Jane (which are still available, run!), whereas the practical Capricorn would be drawn to the soft-brown colorway and sleek appeal of the Tokyo sneaker.
Air Signs
Fictional fashion It girl Carrie Bradshaw still inspires our trends today, and her quirky, personality-driven style can only be attributed to her air-sign qualities. Libras, Geminis, and Aquariuses are often described as great friends, extremely curious, and very balanced. I could see Bradshaw signing up for alerts to purchase Adidas' new Taekwondo Mei lace-up sneakers (which are surprisingly still available in the Adidas Confirmed app). I could also see air signs being drawn to the humble, yet classic Samba. My mom, a certified Libra, recently bought the SL 72 style, which is also very air-sign coded.
Water Signs
Water signs are the emotionally in-tune friend who bases their outfit on how they felt when they woke up that morning. Cancer, Pisces, and Scorpio have eerily good intuition (you probably know one that's a bona fide trend forecaster), and they're protective, loyal, and never shy away from a deep conversation. The vibrant blue Gazelle Shoe reflects their elemental sign, but the chunky Megajane ballerina sneaker has a pretty pattern that I know my Pisces and Cancer friends would love. The fixed Scorpio, however, would be drawn to the sleek, laceless Taekwondo Mei sneaker.
Fire Signs
Fire signs love a spicy shoe (guilty!). After all, something has to match their bold personality. Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius signs are often unapologetically themselves, creative, passionate, and ahead of the curve. A classic red Gazelle feels like the bold yet sophisticated pop of color a fire sign would embrace in their wardrobe. I could also see a fire sign loving the metallic sneaker trend. Plus, the Adidas Gazelle Bold silhouette, with its chunky sole and bright colors, is the perfect statement shoe.
