I Very Much Want to Add These Items to My Closet—They Go With So Many Outfits

There is a certain set of criteria I follow when I’m shopping to add something fresh to my wardrobe. A particular item needs to align with my personal style and be within budget, but its versatility is also of utmost importance. I don’t typically like to go for something that I won’t really wear a ton—strong cost per wear is key.

So as I’ve been scrolling through various sites for inspiration, I bookmarked newer items that piqued my interest for myself and also to recommend to those in my inner circle. Below, check out my edit of fall pieces I’m into because they’re versatile and will go with so many outfits. These are staples like chic knits that could be dressed up or down and pretty blouses like this style from Who What Wear Collection that looks flawless with a smattering of pieces. Keep scrolling to check out my initial curation (the first seven below). There’s also a range of other items I’m loving that I wanted to share.

A beautiful button-down shirt that you could wear with jeans, a skirt, trousers, and so on.

I'm 100% investing in a faux-leather blazer this season. It will elevate any look.

A tailored vest is a staple for many to be worn on its own with jeans, as part of a suit, or as a layering item.

This knit is where it's at with the cozy feel and forward hue. You may want to live in this sweater.

I'm definetly ordering this graphic tee. I like the styling inspiration above by tucking it into wide-leg trousers. It will also look wonderful with joggers or denim.

A sleek piece that could be styled as a shirtdress or as a longer jacket.

Yes to this silhouette. Try it as an alternative to a top or over a T-shirt.

These could easily become new wear-everywhere sunglasses. Fun fact, Sunglass Hut is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and Chanel Iman is working with the brand in honor of the celebration. Her stance on these sunnies? "Gold sunglasses are a subtle yet beautiful way to compliment a wide range of trendy fall looks," she said.

Beautiful to go with so many items.

An oversize shirt is a modern staple.

Stunning knit skirt to wear with any of your favorite separates.

Dark-wash jeans will be a go-to silhouette for fashion people this fall.

Cable-knit sweaters are trending hard right now.

Team just about any shoe style with this dress—knee-high boots, heels, or sneakers.

The back of this top is equally as stunning.

A coatigan is a great choice for transitional weather.

Slit leggings are forward and can be worn with polished items or more casual pieces.

The styling possibilities are endless.

One of the key denim cuts of the moment.

Toss this over just about any of your autumn looks.

Consider a chunky knit or a top and blazer with these faux-leather trousers.

This thin, ribbed cardigan is lovely.

These mini hoops can legit go with anything.

You'll have this moto jacket in your wardrobe for seasons.

A longline plaid blazer that works with so many basics or trendier finds.

Clearly so into an oversize shirt right now.

It's the buttons on the sleeves that do it for me.

I'd wear this shirt with coordinating jeans but imagine it with faux-leather trousers also.
