When a wedding dress trend is approved by both a celebrity and a princess—seven years apart, no less—you know it has to be chic and timeless. This weekend, sportscaster and Dancing With the Stars host Erin Andrews got married in an off-the-shoulder Carolina Herrera gown that reminded us of Princess Victoria of Sweden's Pär Engsheden dress from her own nuptials back in 2010.
Why did we make the connection? Both gowns featured an elegant off-the-shoulder silhouette, cap sleeves, A-line shapes, and long trains. Plus, both women nixed adornments like lace and embroidery in favor of sleek, uncomplicated satin. And the similarities don't end there: Both women also wore extra-long veils pinned into updos.
The only difference? Princess Victoria topped hers off with a crown, naturally. So if you're looking for an utterly classic choice, you might want to emulate Andrews and the Swedish princess.
