Working in fashion comes with plenty of moments to feel inspired, whether it’s experiencing a runway show, seeing a photo shoot come to life, or watching the industry come together in support of important initiatives such as sustainability. Personally, one of the things that inspire me most is the discovery of new talent. Whether uncovering a brand on Instagram or an emerging label at fashion week, I always get a ping of excitement when I find fresh designers that bring new voices to the world of fashion.

Often, young talent is spotted early on the street style scene with a mix of in-the-know editors, buyers, and influencers wearing the brands they support. So which up-and-coming labels should we expect to see this season? Ahead, I’m highlighting nine emerging brands that will define street style this month. From affordable pieces to investment buys, these are the cool fashion brands to know about now.

Frankie Shop

Frankie Shop is already a favorite on the street style scene, and I expect it will blow up this year. It has a great collection of tailored separates that hit on the year's biggest trends. With price points that mostly hit under $300, this is a brand to add to your must-buy list.

Young Frankk

I recently learned about L.A.-based jewelry brand Young Frankk and immediately fell in love with its beautiful (and affordable) pieces. Moda Operandi's fashion director, Lisa Aiken, was recently snapped wearing its designs, a surefire sign others will soon follow.

Aje

I discovered Sydney-based brand Aje last year during Australian Fashion Week. It does volume well—a street style favorite—so you'll find cool puff-sleeve dresses and voluminous tops in this collection.

A.W.A.K.E Mode

London-based brand A.W.A.K.E Mode has already been snapped on the street style scene this season, including an outfit worn by Who What Wear's editor in chief, Kat Collings. It excels at asymmetrical silhouettes and playful designs, such as its padded Lucy tote.

Remain Birger Christensen

More and more rising brands are emerging from Copenhagen, and Remain Birger Christensen is the latest to keep an eye out for. It has a sophisticated take on suiting and tailored pieces that have already been huge on the street style scene this year.

Australian designer Michael Lo Sordo is a master of eveningwear, but his latest collections are full of luxe tailored pieces that have already been spotted on the street at New York Fashion Week. I expect we'll be seeing many more of his designs worn by the fashion set in the upcoming season.

Christopher Esber

Fashion loves a return to the '90s, and Christopher Esber does it in the best possible way. These tie-waist pieces seem destined for a street style look—mark my words.

Gauge81

Amsterdam-based brand Gauge81 is brand new to this editor, but I can already see its stunning pantsuit sets and sheer tops being a favorite among fashion insiders.

A Celine alum who worked with Phoebe Philo, Peter Do brings refined pieces and sculptural construction to his beautiful designs. The statement-making clothing is basically born to be snapped on the street.
