Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one Who What Wear team member or friend of the brand will share the top 30 fashion and beauty finds on their current wish list.

Calling all early adopters! If you like to make a habit of knowing about the next big fashion pieces before they're everywhere, I've made a list of the key items to know and shop right now. While many of them hit on the biggest trends of the moment and those to come, I'm willing to bet that most of these picks have the potential for a long duration in your closet. After all, my approach to shopping takes that into consideration first and foremost, and I've aligned that with my edit here.

The list of trends on my radar is long. Bold and fiery red, patent leather, and elbow-length leather gloves are some of the hottest fashion items to add to your closet this fall. Astute fashion insiders who are very ahead of the curve may already be looking to the spring/summer 2024 runways for the trends to know for next year. Among the standouts are modest takes on sheer clothing, capri pants, and all things cherry red, but it doesn't stop there. Ahead, shop an editor-approved list of fall shopping picks.
