Fashion month is right around the corner—as in, a matter of days—so soon there will be a plethora of street style outfits from New York, London, Milan, and Paris to obsess over. Our offices are buzzing about all the style inspiration to expect, particularly which It items will prove to dominate this season. Not to brag or anything, but we've gotten pretty good at predicting which trends will and won't be huge for fall, so now it's time for one more piece of insight. Calling it: The only purse trend that will matter this season is drawstring bags.

From Copenhagen to Paris and New York, drawstring pouch bags are popping up everywhere we look. Seeing as the street style set is always one step ahead of the curve, we're placing all our bets on this bag trend becoming a major thing. From delicately beaded pouches to luxurious velvet and chic leather versions, there are so many ways to approach the trend. Ahead, see how drawstring bags look bags IRL and then shop our edit.
