The New Sydney Label That's Already Model-Approved
There's a new menswear label that's suddenly popped up on our radar (thanks, Instagram), and while it's perfect for the man in your life, we're adding pieces to cart for ourselves. DearFriend, launched by Jono Friend (aka @asos_jono) and Adin Taylor, is a mix of wearable basics that come with a retro feel. We've already spotted the label on Roberta Pecoraro and Kicki Yang Zhang (as well as Jordan Barrett), proving that it looks just as good on girls as it does on guys.
We reached out to co-founder Jono Friend, to find what the label set out to achieve. Friend explained to Who What Wear Australia via email, "Adin Taylor and I had a deep desire to add a little extra oomph to the humdrum world of menswear. We put our heads together to bring DearFriend to you. The vision we had was to create a new label inspired by our own lives and group of friends. The collection is made up of wearable garments with a signature style of refined patterns, fabrics, and illustrations."
Keep scrolling to shop the three pieces we'd wear in a heartbeat.
