These Rare Carrie Bradshaw Jean Outfits Will Give You Feelings

Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw wore a lot of things (including tutus, tie-dye pedal pushers, and a tiara). But she didn't wear a whole lot of perhaps the most common closet staple: jeans. Think about it—how many Carrie Bradshaw jean outfits really stand out in your mind? Probably not many, right? Because these things matter, I took it upon myself to find all the documented examples in which Carrie Bradshaw aka Sarah Jessica Parker wore jeans throughout the course of Sex and the City's filming history. I found just six outfits, most of which are as characteristically "extra" as can be (and coincidentally, most are from the SATC movies).
While I definitely won't blame you if you don't want to copy these looks exactly, I will applaud you if you do as I did and let them inspire you to shake up your denim collection with some new styles that in some ways feel even fresher now than they did in the 2000s. That said, keep scrolling to see the rare looks and shop jeans inspired by them.
This 2009 Carrie Bradshaw denim outfit is the one I'd be most likely to copy, and her straight-leg high-rise jeans are cooler than ever right now.

Another 2009 SATC movie look, it proves that the best white skinny jeans are a little loose in the legs and that Converse sneakers always look good with jeans.
Shop White Jeans
As Bradshaw displayed in 2004, skinny jeans, a chunky sweater, a statement coat, and over-the-knee boots make for an excellent combination in the colder months.
Shop Dark-Wash Skinny Jeans
Back in 2003 when boyfriend jeans were very popular, Carrie Bradshaw wore them like only she can: with an exposed bra, cardigan, and fur-lined boots.

Available in sizes 24 to 32.
One of Bradshaw's more toned-down denim looks came circa 2004 when she paired flares with a trench and suede boots (and a Walkman, FYI).
Shop Flared Jeans
The rise of cuffed wide-leg jeans has gotten significantly higher since 2003, but Bradshaw wore the look well, exposed bra straps and all (which is a thing again right now).

Next up are all the shoes Carrie Bradshaw would wear in 2018.
