Fashion People Love This Smart and Casual Trend—28 Pieces Worth Adding to Cart
The unsung hero of my wardrobe this season is, without a doubt, a chic vest (or waistcoat if you’re a Brit like me). As someone who tends to have a weekly deluge of meetings, press previews, and brand dinners, not to mention going to the office a few days a week—I’ve found the vest to be the perfect smart-casual option that instantly adds polish to my outfit with zero effort required.
Fashion people are all about the versatile trend this season. In fact, you can’t scroll Instagram these days without seeing a chic vest styled with jeans, tailored trousers, or a maxi skirt. Whether it’s a modern white linen silhouette like Sofia Richie’s Posse number or a classic beige tailored wool vest, there are many great iterations for every budget this season. And the best part? They’re easy to wear year-round. Style yours with a miniskirt this summer, and wear it under a blazer with tailored trousers come fall.
Below, I’m sharing 28 of my favorites and including a handful of chic ways fashion people have been styling them this season to get you inspired.
I've spotted so many fashion people in Dissh's chic scoop-neck vest.
If you're going to splurge on an investment piece, make it this Attersee vest.
Richie's famous white vest keeps selling out as soon as it comes back in stock. (Check out what sizes they have left).
The fashion crowd can't get enough of Frankie Shop's Maesa vest.
Add high-waisted jeans or trousers for an effortlessly chic warm-weather look.
