I Design In-House Nordstrom Labels and Think Everyone Will Love These Items
If our team of fashion editors made a list of the stores we shop at the most, Nordstrom would undoubtedly rank pretty high. Same for you? Thought so. What can we say? The retailer stocks a wide variety of items to suit just about every style. It also offers a smattering of brands to choose from, including many that are from the Nordstrom Made collections and designed in-house.
Given the appeal of the lines included in this mix, we thought it could be intriguing to get to know one of the in-house designers and find out which pieces she particularly loves designing in the range. Say hello to Shannon Reed, senior design director for Nordstrom Made women’s apparel. Reed designs pieces for a variety of labels including Halogen, Zella, and Treasure & Bond. And while she designs quite an assortment of current-feeling items, we thought getting her picks of key fall items would be most interesting. Essentially, she shared with us the pieces she’s personally into right now that she thinks others might enjoy as well.
Keep scrolling to check out four general items that you can buy from the Nordstrom Made lines. You’ll also find a slew of products that could be worthy additions to your autumn wardrobe.
Trendy Separates
"Working from home has blurred the lines between lounge and daywear. I’ve been loving versatile items that are stylish enough to wear outside without compromising comfort and performance."
Statement Tops and Jewelry
"Numerous Zoom calls a day inspire me to dress to impress from the waist up. A beautiful printed top with a bright pop of color changes my mood instantly. Jewelry also comes to the rescue with statement earrings or an extravagant necklace.”
Chic Activewear
"This season, a lightweight run coat with reflectivity for early morning or evening runs/walks is a must! Pair with a compressive tight with secure pocketing for cell phone or keys.”
Cozy Staples
"I am taking joy in investing in everyday luxury. It’s all about cozy and plush materials. With colder weather approaching, I want to be wrapped in cashmere or soft knits from head to toe.”
