When it comes to clearance sections, it is often less of a hit than a miss. Even as someone who is essentially a professional shopper, I seldom even browse the section since everything is usually heavily picked over and whatever happens to be left is usually down to one size option (that size never seems to be my own). So when I tell you the level of surprise I had when I recently perused the clearance section at Nordstrom, just believe me, it was through the roof.
