Sweaters are one of the hardest-working garments in my wardrobe (which is why they take really long vacations in summer (ba dum tss!). Jokes aside, I am a woman of very good knits, and every fall, I love the thrill of adding a few new sweaters into my daily outfit rotation.
After scouring through J.Crew’s site this month, I noticed so many luxurious-looking options, that I just had to try for myself! I’ve been a longtime fan of J.Crew’s cashmere and knits, and this fall’s line up does not disappoint. Below, you’ll find six of my favorites of the season that I fell in love with—whether it’s because of their comfort, softness, color, silhouette, versatility, or classic style.

I'm a huge fan of sweater-vests for layering in fall, and J.Crew have several I'm obsessing over right now. This 100% cashmere crew-neck silhouette is classic and chic, and the gray hue works with practically everything in my wardrobe. I've been styling it over a white tee and under a blazer this this season with jeans or tailored trousers for the office. It's lightweight yet warm and super soft.

I've been looking for a simple charcoal gray crew-neck sweater inspired by the ones seen on the Prada F/W 23 runway, and J.Crew's classic cashmere version fits the bill perfectly. It's soft, beautiful quality, and is one of those knits I know I'll wear for years to come. I'm wearing the XS here, but I'd recommend sizing up if you're looking for a looser fit.

Fiery red is the biggest color trends of the season and one of the easiest ways to wear it is in the form of a chic knit. J.Crew's oversize ribbed cashmere sweater is one of my absolute favorites of the season. The relaxed fit is so easy to wear and it's insanely comfortable. Plus, the color is Insta-worthy. Expect plenty of compliments.

Talking of color trends, glacial blue hues are everywhere right now—and feels perfect for the winter months ahead. I've been eyeing this classic and chic V-neck sweater-vest for months—it looks so chic layered over a turtleneck, tee, or button-down. Pair it with a pair of beige relaxed trousers or J.Crew's iconic chinos.

Everyone needs a relaxed cashmere cardigan in their wardrobe, and I couldn't recommend this cashmere one more. It's lightweight, warm, and perfect for layering. It has a longer silhouette—hitting right below the hip—ideal for wrapping yourself up in, in front of the fire!
