My Co-Worker Gets Stopped on the Street Every Time She Wears This Cardigan
While you've surely heard us gush about nearly every item in our latest Who What Wear Collection drop, it's hard not to pick a favorite this season when one piece has clearly distinguished itself from the rest. Just ask my colleague, Who What Wear's assistant market editor, Yusra, who swears that whenever she wears our Mimi cardigan, strangers literally stop her in the street to give her compliments. I can't say I'm surprised since I, too, was taken aback the first time I laid eyes on the floral-embroidered beauty.
Beyond its pattern, however, I've learned that the knit has a lot more to offer in order to prove its place as a hero piece. To start, its relaxed and comfortable fit are the perfect complements to an easy spring combo of jeans and a tee. Next, it looks just as good open as it does buttoned-up as a top. And lastly, to round things out, it's comprised of 50% Seawool (an eco-friendly mix of repurposed PET bottles and surplus oyster shells), but that doesn't mean it compromises on texture for even a moment. If that doesn't do it for you, maybe some of the below fashion inspo will. So to see how some of our favorites are styling the cardigan, shop it, and check out more pieces we're loving, simply keep scrolling.
It doesn't have to be Earth Day to appreciate an eco-friendly find. I love how this piece incorporates Seawool, which isn't just soft on the environment but also soft to the touch.
In Yusra's own words, "Whenever I wear this cardigan, strangers stop me to give me compliments. It fills me with 'main-character energy,' if I'm being honest, like I'm the star of a 2000s rom-com. The florals aren't in-your-face but still stand out in the best way, and the fit is also relaxed and comfortable. I love that I can just be wearing a basic T-shirt and jeans but add this cardigan on top to make it a well-rounded ensemble."
It's great from afar, but even better up close.
Add "goes well with jeans and converse" to the cardi's list of attributes.
Despite being printed, the black background makes it so easy to match.
One last close-up for the road.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. Upon joining, she was a senior about to graduate from business school at USC. Fast-forward to 2025, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was just starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content and her Trust Me—Buy This newsletter. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to neutral, classic pieces but will always make an exception for something colorful or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a party is dressing up for one. On her downtime, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
