The Classic Boot Style Everyone Will Actually Wear This Fall

Photo:
Szymon Brzóska/ The Style StalkerAlthough delicate satin Miu Miu ballet flats and Loewe nail polish heels are on my wishlist right now, it's safe to say that there's still an important place in my wardrobes these days for comfort and practicality. Don't get me wrong, I love a good over-the-top fashion moment as much as the next style person, but if you were to ask me what most people will actually be wearing out on the street and not just flaunting on their Instagram feeds, I'd have to say it's a classic flat boot.
Call them boring, but the grip flat boots currently have on fashion is undeniable. From leather knee-highs to lace-up combat boots, flat boots are having a moment. Thick gummy soles, also known as lug soles, are an especially trendy feature on this season's coolest boots. However, it's the overall lack of a heel that I'd like to point out today. Oh, and not to mention, they're practical, too. Flat boots had a notable presence on the F/W 23 runways (see Loewe and Stella McCartney's collections). They were paired with everything from easygoing knit dresses to cool leather jackets, indicating their unmatched versatility.
Fresh off the heels of fashion month, it's already clear from the street-style scene that flat boots are making an impact in real life, too.
