This It-Girl Fragrance Brand of the Early 2000s Just Launched My Favorite Perfume of 2025

Can you really call something a nostalgic perfume if you still wear it just as often as all your other fragrances? That's the question I ask myself every time I spritz on Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy fragrance ($76). It's known as a Y2K favorite, but the love affair never really stopped for me. That's why I was excited but equally as nervous to learn that Juicy Couture launched a new fragrance called Just Moi. I was afraid this new French-coded drop wouldn't live up to the legacy of Viva La Juicy, but I've never been happier to be wrong.
Just Moi marks a new chapter for the brand—one filled with excitement that's bolder than the last. "Juicy Couture's fragrance has long been a cultural icon known for turning heads and rewriting the rules of fashion," said Christina Martin Pieper, executive vice president of brand and lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group, owner of Juicy Couture. "With Just Moi, we are honoring that legacy while introducing a new chapter that speaks to the next generation. This launch reflects our commitment to evolving the brand with intention and authenticity, creating products that inspire confidence, self-expression, and individuality for years to come."
The gorgeous bottle was inspired by vintage French champagne glasses, keeping true to the spirit and legacy of the brand. It's so chic, and I can say with full confidence that this fragrance is just as good as its predecessor. For everything you need to know about it, keep reading below.
Key notes: Cacao blossom, magnolia, plum nectar, crème de cacao, vanilla orchid, jasmine sambac, cacao bean, sandalwood, warm musk
As I said, I'm a devout Viva La Juicy wearer, so I was hesitant about this one. I knew Viva La Juicy would be hard to top. TBH, it was the It girl of the early 2000s. If you're a millennial, you know what I'm talking about. Viva La Juicy was basically the defining fragrance of our generation. Juicy Couture fully put itself on the map with it and its iconic tracksuit. From the bottle design to the notes, it's still a classic today that demands to be noticed. It's sweet, juicy, and floral with notes of honeysuckle, wild berries, caramel, and vanilla.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but Just Moi actually managed to dethrone Viva La Juicy for me. *Le gasp.* The minute I smelled it on my skin, I fell in love. This fresh offering from the brand has everything I love in a perfume. It's sweet and equally as juicy (if not more than Viva), and the dry-down is so velvety and bold. While the sweeter notes of cacao blossom, magnolia, and plum nectar really stand out, they're never overpowering or smell too sweet. They give the fragrance an airy lightness that's so inviting and makes you want to lean in and sniff.
To say I'm obsessed is an understatement. Its projection is also unmatched—I wore it for a full eight hours without having to reapply, and I've never received more compliments when wearing a perfume. The only other fragrance that I get an equal amount of compliments on, without fail, is Parfums de Marly's Delina Exclusif.
Overall, if you're looking for something warm, sweet, airy, and juicy, this will fast become a favorite. I first smelled it on a sample stick, but nothing compares to how it smells on the skin. It's easily one of my all-time favorite fragrances. Juicy has done it again.
Similar Perfumes I Love
Key notes: Wild berries, mandarin, honeysuckle, gardenia, jasmine, amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, praline
Here's my other ride-or-die Juicy fragrance. Alex Cooper (a fellow millennial) loves it as much as I do. In fact, she even wore it on her wedding day.
Key notes: Pear, lychee, grapefruit, rosa damascena, incense, vetiver, vanilla, musk, evernyl
Like I mentioned above, this is my second most complimented perfume of all time. One time, I even had an Uber driver ask me what it was because it just "smelled so pretty." They were his words, not mine, but I have to agree.
Key notes: Lychee, peony, vanilla
I'm very passionate about The 7 Virtues and its suite of clean fragrances. Candied Lychee tops my list of favorites from the brand. Similar to Just Moi, its sweet and fruity notes pack a punch without being overbearing.
Key notes: Pink peppercorn, plum, black rose, cumin, vanilla, patchouli, labdanum
This luscious fragrance from Octavia Morgan is so underrated. It's floral, fruity, and woody. It's perfect for anyone who loves a little of all three. It's rich and delicious—the other fragrance (besides Just Moi) I'll be wearing for fall.
Key notes: Vanilla macaron, cashmere woods, amber crystals
I haven't gotten my hands on Ariana Grande's newest fragrance yet, but I already know I'm going to love it. Grande never misses when it comes to fragrances, and the mouthwatering notes of vanilla macaron and cashmere woods are really speaking to me.
