This Designer Fragrance Flies Under the Radar, But It's Considered a Staple Amongst the Fashion Set
The specific Prada perfumes that fashion insiders can't get enough of.

You'll have no doubt heard (or smelled) Prada Paradoxe, or perhaps owned a bottle of Prada Candy at one point. But, there is a little-known Prada fragrance line that often flies under the radar amongst the house's popular perfumes and has gained a loyal following amongst fashion insiders, and that's Les Infusions de Prada.
Effortlessly chic and subtle, these perfumes don’t shout—they whisper. Much as the name suggests, every scent "infuses" iconic ingredients in a way that feels light, fresh and modern. They're incredibly wearable, acting like a second skin that combines with your own natural skin scent. These are fragrances that you wear, rather than fragrances that wear you.
Les Infusions de Prada are a breath of crisp air amongst the beast-mode fragrances that have dominated in fragrance circles. They're lightweight, airy and a little mysterious with a skin-like dry-down that’s unmistakably Prada. But does each fragrance live up to the hype? I’ve spritzed my way through the entire collection to find out which of the Les Infusions de Prada perfumes are worth a space in your lightweight perfume collection.

1. Prada Les Infusion d'Iris Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Iris pallida, neroli, mandarin, benzoin
Fragrance family: Floral-woody
My verdict: This is perhaps the most iconic scent from the Infusions line-up (it's even the signature scent you'll find in Prada Beauty's skincare, too). And I can see why it's become a classic. It's like the fragrance equivalent of a crisp white shirt. It's clean, a little woody and soapy, while the iris gives it an airy powder quality that melts into your skin. It's like the scent of clean sheets and expensive hand soap. It's a very soft scent, which makes it very wearable for a lot of different situations, or if you find a lot of perfumes overwhelming on your senses. It's not a scent that's hugely noticeable to others around you, but it does create a minimalist halo of scent that you'll still be able to smell on your skin hours later.
2. Prada Les Infusion de Figue Eau De Parfum
Best Fruity-Woody Infusion de Prada
Key notes: Mandarin, fig accord, lentisk, galbanum
Fragrance family: Fruity-woody
My verdict: I love a fig perfume, and Prada's take smells better and better as you wear it. At first, I wasn't immediately enamoured with it, but it quickly grew on me as it settled on the skin. The opening is bitter green fig leaves and woody bark after rainfall, before paving the way for milky, creamy fig flesh that has ripened under the Mediterranean sun as it mingles with your skin. I'm not usually one for fruity perfumes, but Figue now has a special spot on my dressing table thanks to its woody green twist.
3. Prada Les Infusion de Rhubarbe Eau De Parfum
Best Fruity Infusion de Prada
Key notes: Vert de bergamot, Italian green mandarin, bitter orange, rhubarb, rose, white musk, ambrofix
Fragrance family: Fruity
Our verdict: The latest addition to the Les Infusion de Prada line is Rhubarbe. On the first spritz, you get the crispness of freshly cut rhubarb stalks with a hint of jammy sweetness. This zingy fragrance is a great summer perfume, with a juicy, mouthwatering sweetness and a crisp, green bite that keeps it feeling fresh and never saccharine. It’s sparkling, creamy and refreshingly bright all at once.
4. Prada Infusion de Vétiver Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Bergamot, ginger, vetiver, cardamon
Fragrance family: Woody-spicy
My verdict: Earthy, grassy and woody—this is vetiver done the Prada way. While vetiver scents are often most worn amongst men, this take feels more androgynous. I could picture both myself and my boyfriend wearing it. It opens with bright, sparkling yet soapy bergamot and zing of ginger before quickly settling into grassy, dry vetiver. Since trying it, I've found that this is one of the more noticeable and long-lasting in the Infusions line. It has a strong projection that I notice hours later.
5. Prada Infusion de Vanille Eau de Parfum
Key notes: Bergamot, neroli, vanilla, angelica seed
Fragrance family: Ambery-woody
My verdict: This is a seductive, smoky take on vanilla. It's a very smooth, like a scoop of Italian gelato flecked with vanilla bean rather than the sickly sweet variety. It's warming and enveloping but never headache-inducing. The herbal twist of angelica seed keeps it from veering into cloying territory, so you could confidently wear this year-round, even in the warmer months. Because of this, I find this lighter, watercolour take on vanilla means it really melds to become a beautiful skin scent as you wear it—it never wears you.
6. Prada Infusion de Cèdre Eau de Parfum
Best Woody Infusion de Prada
Key notes: Cedarwood, mandarin, benzoin, incense
Fragrance family: Woody
My verdict: Cèdre is quietly powerful—the kind of fragrance that doesn’t beg for attention but commands it anyway. Dry cedarwood is softened by cosy musk and a whisper of benzoin. I actually first tried this in the candle form (yes, Prada does candles too!) and it's the type of scent I'd imagine a chic interior designer or architect would fill their home with. It's clean, woody and musky and acts like a second skin as it warms. So dreamy.
7. Prada Infusion de Gingembre Eau de Parfum
Best Zingy Infusion de Prada
Key notes: Green mandarin, ginger, geranium, vetiver
Fragrance family: Aromatic
Our verdict: If Prada did morning ginger shots, this is exactly how they would smell. This one took me by surprise. It opens with a zingy hit of fresh ginger—sharp, sparkling, almost effervescent—then softens into a gentle warmth throughout the day. It makes me think of spa days and expensive shower gel that leaves you feeling invigorated from head to toe. It's a great choice for those who love a fresh, spicy scent but want something light and clean at the same time.
