I'm Snagging These 12 Discounted Nordstrom Beauty Buys While I Still Can
Unfortunately, all good things must eventually come to an end, including the jaw-dropping savings offered as part of Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale. It's one of the biggest beauty events of the year and features several exclusive discounts on a treasure trove of products from gush-worthy brands like Nars, NuFace, Lancôme, and MAC Cosmetics. Since the clock is ticking on these deals, it's a good idea to scout out the best beauty products to buy right now.
Not sure which discounted beauty finds should have a spot in your basket? Keep scrolling to see a comprehensive list of my favorite skincare, tools, makeup, and bodycare products. Get moving—the Nordstrom Anniversary is on now and will be ending August 4!
1. Skincare
I use MAC's Serumizer and SkinCanvas Balm on the daily to prep my skin for makeup application. The cleansing oil gently and effectively removes all impurities and delivers a healthy-looking glow while the Serumizer works overtime to strengthen the skin barrier and reduce the appearance of imperfections.
Over the past few years, I've noticed more hyperpigmentation making an appearance on my complexion (especially next to my eyes and around my mouth). To combat it, I've added the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution to my skincare routine. It uses a vitamin C–based formula to address dark spots and promotes a brighter, more even complexion.
As a beauty editor, I'm exposed to hundreds of high-performing serum products touted as having anti-aging and plumping qualities. This one, by Lancôme, is one of the few that stand out to me due to its powerful formula featuring skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C+ niacinamide, and ferulic acid.
2. Beauty Tools and Devices
Have you ever wished you could undergo pain-free pore extractions without booking a facial? While it's always ideal to receive treatments and guidance from skincare experts, using trustworthy pore extractors like this one by Dermaflash can get you the same results without draining your last paycheck.
I have a love-hate relationship with my round face (the baby cheeks are still sticking around well into my 20s), but this NuFace facial toning device helps bring out the cheek bones of my dreams. This starter kit includes everything you need to get started: a Trinity+ Smart Advanced Facial Toning Device, facial trainer attachment, charging cradle, power adapter, and Hydrating Aqua Gel Activator.
For me, the end of July means taking out my mid-summer braids and embracing my 4c curls once again. The T3 Featherweight StyleMax Dryer makes it incredibly easy for me to dry, blow out, and stretch my strands for defined curls in minutes. The dryer features a SoftTouch 3 Diffuser, smoothing comb, drying concentrator, and styling concentrator to make washday easy.
3. Makeup
Non-clumping, lengthening, and volumizing mascara can be hard to come by, but Lancôme's Lash Idôle Mascara delivers flirty, full lashes every time. This limited-edition set includes two tubes of mascara—perfect for leaving one for easy access on your vanity and taking the other with you wherever you go for quick touch-ups in a time crunch.
I might be biased, but I believe you can never have too many blush shades. The Nars Iconic Blush Duo features two of the brand's most iconic ones—Orgasm (a peachy-pink with golden shimmer) and Deep Throat (soft pink with a golden sheen)—that look stunning on all skin tones. My favorite thing about Nars's powder blush is that it has a soft-focus, blurred effect that makes your cheeks look like they have just been pinched.
I always add the Veil Translucent Setting Powder and brush to my basket whenever I see either one on sale, so why wouldn't I shop them as a discounted duo? This finely milled, weightless powder is crafted with soft-focus light-reflecting particles that deliver an air-brushed effect while the double-ended brush (designed to be used with the setting powder) can be used wherever you need it for flawless application.
4. Bodycare
Since relocating to New York City from Seattle, my cuticles have been going through a lot. (I think blasting my air conditioner to combat the high temperatures is to blame.) To revive them, I love using Deborah's Lippmann Cuticle Repair Kit. It includes the brand's best-selling Cuticle Oil, It's a Miracle Intense Therapy Cuticle Oil, and Cuticle Remover to keep my cuticles looking and feeling their healthiest.
Come fall, I'll be earning my frequent flyer miles, which means using this travel set nonstop to support the health of my hair and skin. Here's a deluxe set of four travel-size bodycare essentials in Le Labo's classic Santal 33 scent (an aromatic, spicy blend of sandalwood, cardamom, iris, leather, and more). I'm also obsessed with the classic, crushed-leather cosmetic case.
I can't get enough of Osea's Undaria Algae Body Butter and Body Oil, so it should be no surprise that I'm adding the Golden Glow Discover Set to my shopping list. These skincare must-haves use a seaweed-infused formula to nourish, sooth, and firm the skin while improving skin elasticity and delivering deep hydration for up to 72 hours. Sounds like a keeper to me!
