It Turns Out Bandeau Tops Are the New Crop Tops

It’s no secret that crop tops have been an It item in the closets of stylish celebs over the last few years, but taking a look at some of their recent outfits, I couldn’t help but notice that bandeau tops are starting to replace other versions of the shrunken shirts. Bella Hadid is really putting them on the map and has worn the style on a number of occasions. This editor especially loves the simple black bandeau outfit she stepped out in that was paired with a pair of black track pants, white sneakers, gold hoops, and a parka—a whole new spin on athleisure that feels fresh for 2018.

On the other hand, celebs like Kendall Jenner and Suki Waterhouse have been wearing the tops for a night out. Jenner styled a pink feathered version with a pair of light-wash jeans and PVC heels. And Waterhouse instead chose to wear a simple white bandeau underneath a yellow tweed skirt suit for a cool Clueless moment. I think this is just the beginning of this trend and we will see it explode this summer.

Here's how celebs are wearing the trend

If you need any proof that bandeau tops are a thing, just look at Kendall Jenner’s recent outfit wearing a pink feather version.

Now I'll be trying to figure out exactly how to style a bandeau top this summer.
