What I'm Buying to Dress Just a Little Bit Cooler
In my never-ending quest to dress like the coolest, most fashion-forward, and stylish version of myself, this week I rounded up 21 autumn ready pieces that feel aligned with my day-to-day style but one sartorial notch up—the types of items that don’t fly under the radar but actually stand out when you wear them. The hope, of course, being that if I implement as many of them as possible into my wardrobe this coming season, I’ll have elevated my day-to-day style. In fact, I’m banking on this so much that I’ve even started by purchasing a handful of the below already. (See: Ganni miniskirt, Jacquemus party outfit, Aritzia tee, and Who What Wear collection block-heel sandals.) Here’s to hoping it works!
To see and shop the 21 pieces I’m buying (or at least, hoping to buy) to dress just a little bit cooler, keep scrolling.
This color will be everywhere pretty soon, so why not get on it now?
I'm a sucker for anything with crystals.
You can bet I'm getting on board with this trend.
The matching blazer is key.
Starting to come around to this trend.
This hits on multiple spring trends. Plus, does it get any cooler than a leather trench?
Whether I can pull them off is questionable, but that doesn't mean I don't want to try!
A shoulder bag is a definite must.
It wouldn't be a spring style roundup without bike shorts.
I actually already bought this and the matching top and have zero regrets.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
