Anna Wintour Completely Changed Her Style at Her Daughter's Bridal Shower

We may have missed Anna Wintour at the royal wedding, but she has more important nuptials to attend this summer: her daughter, Bee Shaffer, will soon be getting married to Francesco Carrozzini (who happens to be the son of Franca Sozzani, the late Vogue Italia editor in chief). Shaffer already celebrated her bachelorette party in Tulum, and now she's continuing the wedding celebrations with her famous mom.

In a photo shared on Brock Collection's Instagram, Wintour surprised us by wearing an epic green velvet dress that's giving us major boho vibes. Wintour's style is usually sleeker and more polished than '70s and hippie, but we're absolutely loving the style mix-up. Of course, she completed the look with her signature oversize sunglasses.

Meanwhile, the beautiful bride-to-be wore Brock Collection's Darling Plunging Sleeveless Lace Day Dress With Cherry Embroidery ($9400), which is the ultimate fashion-girl way to wear white for a bridal shower. Scroll down to see the cute mother-daughter moment and shop the brand for yourself.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
