As a skincare junkie, I love nothing more than getting product recommendations and beauty tips. I find it fascinating how various products work on each person's skin in a different way, and no two people's medicine cabinets are exactly alike. The people I especially like hearing beauty secrets from are women over 40. They've spent years testing products and gathering wisdom, so it's safe to say they know a thing or two about beauty regimens.

Now, celebrities over 40 are in a whole new league. They've not only had years of experience testing products, but they also have access to industry experts and specialists to help guide their routine. So I tend to take product recommendations from them very seriously. I've recently heard a lot of celebrities talking about specialized products that I, through my instant googling, have figured out are actually available on Amazon. From the $12 sheet masks Drew Barrymore swears by to keep breakouts at bay to the $35 oil cleanser Victoria Beckham uses morning and night, below are the beauty products on Amazon celebrities over 40 are obsessed with.

Sofía Vergara told Shape she has a relatively low-maintenance skincare routine because, as someone with rosacea, she needs to ensure she's not using harsh products that will irritate her skin. To help combat her inflammation, she applies calendula oil after her moisturizer every day.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman swears by a $25 drugstore retinol. "I believe in using retinol at night, so I use the Neutrogena Night Repair," Kidman tells Byrdie. "I know people go, 'Retinol! It'll make your skin dry,' but [this one] doesn't." If you're new to the retinol world, this formula is a great place to start, as the monetary investment is low so you can see how your skin reacts without major risk.
