Not to Flex, But I Know a Good Dress When I See One—30 That Pass My Test
When it comes to summer dresses, there are endless options out there, but if your summer calendar is as jam-packed as mine and you take event dressing seriously, then you know that not any old dress will do. This summer is my busiest yet, filled with rooftop events, weekends away, dinners, parties, and trips. Of course, the first thing I thought of while watching my calendar fill up was, "What am I going to wear?" This summer, I plan to step up my warm-weather wardrobe and be extra intentional about what I wear.
Naturally, I rolled up my sleeves for the deep dive of the century and turned to the retailers I trust most. After hours of digging through pages and pages of summer dresses, I found 30 I couldn't stop thinking about. From the perfect little black L'Academie dress to the last few white-dress opportunities for summer to dresses to close out wedding guest season, there's something for every event on your calendar here.
Keep scrolling to take a peek at my ultimate summer dress list. You're going to love these options as much as I do.
I recently discovered Artless Forever, and I love the simple yet sultry nature of the brand's pieces.
This dress looks like the most comfortable dress in existence.
If I had a wedding coming up, this would be my pick.
I have this dress in baby blue, and once I saw the black, I jumped on it.
I just wore this dress the other day, and I'm obsessed with it.
When in need of the perfect summer- or vacation-ready dress, I always turn to Asta Resort.
This dress also comes in a more neutral tone if bold red is not for you.
I'm not ready to stop wearing white dresses. I'll be taking full advantage of the last few weeks of summer.
This dress comes in black and red, but the polka dots are everything to me.
If you are squeezing in one more vacation this summer, I'd go for this crochet option from Tularosa.
If you were in the market for the perfect sultry black dress, you can thank me later.
All of the dresses from Laura Harrier's collaboration with Reformation are so good.
