I Found These 2022 Trends Lurking at Our Favorite Affordable Retailers
It may only be January but I'm still thinking about the cool fashion trends that lie ahead. From vibrant hues to skirts, there are a slew of styles to keep tabs on for the current and upcoming seasons. I've been following what's on both the runways and Instagram and can confirm I'm ready to make a few changes to my wardrobe. Luckily for you, It is my job to report to you what's new in the sartorial world and how to find the best options on the market. Sharing is caring.
Below, I've detailed six standout 2022 trends our favorite fashion folk are wearing and had the courtesy of shopping them out. I uncovered finds from our favorite affordable brands and retailers that are almost all under $60. Keep scrolling to say hello to your new fashion finds.
1. Slouchy Trousers
It seems as though every year, tailored trousers seem to get more relaxed, and I'm 100% okay with it. Not only do slouchy trousers still look polished, but they add a cool element that skinny-fit trousers were missing out on.
2. Furry & Fuzzy
Maybe it's how cold the winter has gotten or how fun the trend actually is, but I predict we're going to be seeing a lot more furry details in fashion this year. I like to think of it as the comfiest trend of the bunch.
3. Vibrant Hues
The brighter, the better—at least that's my motto. If you're more drawn to neutrals, try incorporating a singular saturated piece in your next outfit.
4. Miniskirts
Micro-minis were spotted heavily last year, and it's only continuing for 2022.
5. Maxi Hemlines
While shorter hemlines are on the rise, so are maxis. When styled correctly, a maxi can be the statement piece of your look.
6. Preppy
This isn't the preppy style that I grew up around in middle school. It's reimagined and more elevated. Think sweater-vests, button-ups, and collars galore.
