I'm an Interiors-Obsessed Fashion Editor—9 New Homeware Finds I Need You to See

By the end of this month, I'll have been renovating my house for a full year. To the naked eye, it might not look like a lot has changed, save for some new flooring and fresh paint on the walls. However, under the surface, there's a lot more that's been going on. Cue an unexpected, full-house rewire (which meant an unexpected, full-house replaster), a sneaky lead-pipe situation that forced some of our newly laid flooring right back up again, and more DIY mishaps than there are aisles in B&Q.

Whilst all this has been testing, to say the least, the thing keeping me on course is my creative vision. Sure, I might not have the actual funds to furnish said house right now, but that doesn't mean I can't keep dreaming up beautiful interior moments in my head. I could talk interiors all day and often do—my poor colleagues have spent the past 365 days listening to my woes and affirming my design decisions.

I've been sending them link after link asking, "What do you think of this?", or suggesting pieces I've spotted that I think they'd like themselves ("This would look gorgeous in your living room."). As such, it was mutually decided that I would start a Who What Wear first—a brand-new rolling homeware column—so I could live out my décor fantasies and afford my colleagues some peace. A win-win, so they say.

Whilst I won't claim to be a professional interior designer, my 13 years as a fashion editor means I have a trained eye for stylish pieces, as well as the ability to identify items that go beyond whatever the current trend cycle may be—something that's especially important when it comes to interiors. For some reason, buying something for the home always feels like more of an investment than doing the same for your wardrobe, doesn't it?

Assuming, if you've found yourself here, that interiors and homeware are of interest to you, bookmark this tab, because I'll be sharing new-in, trending homeware with you here every month. With pieces from H&M to Soho Home, I'll include items for every budget and interior aesthetic, all with some handy styling tips thrown in. Scroll on to see this month's edit.

Her passion and natural talent for writing and styling meant she swiftly rose through the ranks to become the title's fashion news and commercial content editor, with a stint as InStyle.co.uk’s fashion and beauty writer along the way. She later served as Look’s acting Editor in Chief, overseeing both print and digital, before embarking on a successful freelance career, working with Grazia, The Pool, and Marie Claire amongst others.
