These 23 Topshop Items Are So New York (in My Humble Opinion)
These days, there are so many affordable retailers that it's honestly hard to keep track. One week, Zara edges ahead, next week H&M announces its latest high-profile collab, and so on and so forth, but this week, Topshop is the fast-fashion retailer that took the cake. As I was scrolling through the new arrivals page on the site, I couldn't help but wonder if anyone else was thinking the same thing I was—that this new Topshop product was literally meant for New York girls (or just New Yorkers at heart).
Ahead, I've rounded up the 23 Topshop products that scream New York style to me, including ample pairs of new black jeans, statement outerwear pieces, and wearable yet on-trend ankle boots. If you disagree on the fact that these items are NY-approved, don't @ me. I only moved here a year and a half ago, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but what I do know is that I wanted to add all of the following product to my cart ASAP. I live in New York, too, so I don't know what to tell you. Anyway, happy shopping!
Sweatshirts and skinny jeans are basically the uniform around here.
Boilersuits are in, and New Yorkers are adapting to the trend very quickly.
Don't put it past New Yorkers to partake in the season's hottest trends.
Utility pants are your sneakers' best friends, and you know New Yorkers live in their sneakers.
Yes, white boots might get dirty in this crazy city, but they sure do look good.
Satin slip skirts are spotted just as frequently as jeans around here.
A basic piece you'll wear for years to come. Next up, shop the new "naked" swimsuit trend celebrities are loving.
