I Just Started Playing Tennis Again—Here Are All the Workout Pieces I'm Eyeing

I grew up playing tennis but haven’t hit the courts much in the last several years. That is, until recently. I just started taking lessons again, and it feels so great to be back on the court and slipping into tennis gear again. Sartorially, the timing couldn’t be better, because tennis clothing is having a moment in the fashion space, and there are so many cool pieces that tap into traditional sportswear in reimagined ways.

Heritage brands like Lacoste and Reebok have mastered tennis gear that has remained iconic over the years, while newer brands including Sporty & Rich and Nylora have just dropped collections that fashion insiders are snapping up right now. As I’m starting to build out an updated tennis wardrobe, I’ve been on the hunt for some new pieces to add to my closet. Ahead, take a look at the tennis items sitting in my cart.

Kristen has worked with brands including Prada, Chanel, MyTheresa, and Luisa Via Roma, and rising designers such as Refine and Tove, and her style has been featured in publications including Vogue.com, Vogue France, WWD, and the CFDA. Before Who What Wear, Kristen began her career at Rodarte, where she worked on assistant styling, photo shoots, and runway shows, and at Allure, where she moved into print and digital editorial. She graduated from the University of Southern California, where she studied art history and business, and currently lives in New York.
